(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of March 19, comrade Le Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council inspected the investment project to build a coastal road section through Hai Phong city and 9km in Thai Binh province in the form of public-private partnership. Investment project to build a coastal road section through Hai Phong city and 9km in Thai Binh province in the form of public-private partnership with the starting point at the intersection of Provincial Road 353, Dong Neo junction area (km11 + 800 provincial road 353) in Do Son district, Hai Phong city; End point on new National Highway 37 (under construction, Km2+384.15), connecting with the section of the coastal road project through Thai Binh province, in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province. Total length of the route is 29.7km, of which: the section passing through Hai Phong city is 20,782 km; The section through Thai Binh province is 8,925 km.

According to the report of the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, in Hai Phong city, site clearance work has basically been completed. Regarding construction work, the route section from DT353 - Lach Throat bridge (Do Son district) with a route length of 2.99 km, weak foundation has been treated, the section is being filled with sand, and crushed stone aggregate is being constructed in the lower layer (about more than 1km); Lach Throat bridge (100m long) completed construction of temporary bridge, creation of site, construction of test piles. The route section from Lach Throat bridge - Van Uc bridge (Ken Thuy district) with a route length of 4.93 km, has had weak foundations treated, is being filled with sand and unloaded. The bridge over Van Uc River (Kien Thuy and Tien Lang districts) has a length of 2.24 km, currently the total construction output reaches 58.2%. Line section from the bridgeu Van Uc to DH212 (Tien Lang district) with a route length of 2.63 km, currently the total construction output reaches 0.35%...

The project was allocated Government Bond capital of 720,000 million VND for site clearance work in Hai Phong area. To date, 584,234/720,000 million VND has been disbursed (reaching 81.14%). Equity mobilized 404,000 million VND; has disbursed 393,942 million VND (reaching 97.51%) and is completing procedures to borrow 1,500 billion VND from Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
Currently, the Project Management Board has sent a document and is coordinating with localities to review and adjust the policy on using state capital to participate in project implementation, and at the same time work with investors on the implementation of BOT contracts and the adjusted contents of the feasibility study report.

After inspecting the field and listening to reports, City Party Committee Secretary Le Van Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the departments, branches, localities, and units that have overcome difficulties, accelerated site clearance progress as well as basic construction work that met requirements. He requested the investor to continue closely following the work progress, from now until April 15, 2021, it is necessary to mobilize resources to implement, striving to complete the entire route in 2022. Comrade Secretary of the City Party Committee also assigned the City People's Committee to direct the research and establishment of the Van Uc 2 bridge project.
