Workshop "Tax law - Policy and compliance"

– On the afternoon of November 22, the City Tax Department coordinated with the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises (VAFIE) to organize a workshop "Tax law - Policy and compliance".

Attending the conference were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises; Deputy Director of the City Tax Department Dinh Van Thanh; Representatives of leaders of Departments under the General Department of Taxation and 250 businesses in the city.

Tax is one of the State's main tools to manage the economy. Tax policy is regularly adjusted to suit the actual developments of the economy. To help taxpayers fully and correctly understand tax policies and laws, especially in the context of implementing the mechanism of self-calculation, self-declaration and direct payment of taxes to the state budget, the Tax agency has synchronously deployed many different tasks, including the task of propagating tax laws and supporting taxpayers. Propagating and disseminating tax laws aims to make organizations, individuals and the whole society understand the nature and important meaning of good implementation of tax policies. Experts answer and solve business problems at the Conference

At the Workshop, experts from the General Department of Taxation, the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises and the City Tax Department presented, exchanged and discussed some notable points of the draft amendment to Decree 123/2000/ND-CP on invoices; Solve problems related to tax finalization.

Speaking at the Workshop, Deputy Director of the City Tax Department Dinh Van Thanh emphasized: The workshop "Tax law - Policy and compliance" was organized to strengthen support for taxpayers in implementing tax policy; disseminate tax policies and legal regulations, answer problems in business implementation practices for the 2023 tax settlement season.
