Implementing the cooperation agreement between Hai Phong city and Kitakyushu city (Japan), on the morning of October 18, at the City Convention Center, the Department of Industry and Trade chaired and coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units to organize a connection workshop between Hai Phong businesses and Kitakyushu city businesses.
Conference participants
The conference is an opportunity for businesses in the two cities to meet, interact, exchange and move towards expanding joint ventures, links and cooperation in production and business. Thereby contributing to further strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two sister cities Hai Phong - Kitakyushu.
Mr. Iwami Kazuaki, Executive Director of Kitakyushu City Department of Industry and Economy, expressed his wish that through the Workshop, Kitakyushu city businesses will have the opportunity to learn more deeply about Hai Phong city businesses to strengthen cooperative relations. Businesses from Japan participating in this Conference operate in industries and fields such as: high-rise apartment construction, park decoration, optical lights, rental of construction equipment, electrical equipment for factories, production and trading of watering tools, pre-installed water filter faucets.
Enterprises introduce their production and business fields
At the Conference, businesses from the two cities introduced their businesses, the fields of production, business, and construction investment to exchange information and seek cooperation opportunities.
Japanese businesses currently rank first in both the number of projects and the amount of FDI investment capital in the city. Projects of Japanese enterprises are concentrated in Dinh Vu Industrial Park, VSIP, Trang Due, Nomura... and most of them meet the city's high-tech and environmental requirements.
