On the morning of November 22, the Standing Committee of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized the 2nd Conference of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2024 - 2029. Comrade Pham Van Lap - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.
In attendance were comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the Conference, delegates agreed to approve the draft Program of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the city, term 2025 - 2030 (scheduled to be held on November 25 and 26, 2025 at the Hall of the Vietnam - Czechoslovak Friendship Labor Culture Palace); draft Political Report of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term submitted to the Congress; Report reviewing the activities of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city for the term 2024 - 2029; along with the layout and content of 02 draft reports, including a Report summarizing comments on the draft Document of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 and a Report summarizing comments on additions and amendments to the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X.

The conference also approved the 1st City Committee and Standing Committee Personnel Project of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2025 - 2030; Project of delegation to attend the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the term 2026 - 2031.
Accordingly, the Committee includes 120 Members, the Standing Committee includes 10 Members; The delegation attending the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress has 28 people, including 06 current delegates and delegates appointed by the Congress (02 official delegates and 02 reserve delegates).
Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, comrade Pham Van Lap - Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged the serious preparation of the Standing Committee and the enthusiastic opinions of the delegates. He requested the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to continue to thoroughly review the entire system of documents, ensuring rigor, consistency and closeness to the city's reality; Clearly affirming the core political role of the Fatherland Front in consolidating and promoting the great national unity; At the same time, carefully prepare the necessary conditions to organize the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the city, ensuring solemnity, practicality and on schedule..,
