(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of August 1, Hai Phong City Party Committee held a conference to thoroughly grasp and implement Plan No. 379-KH/TU, dated July 17, 2024 of the City Party Executive Committee and Circular No. 10-TT/TU of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 17th City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party. In order to well organize and carry out the work of Party Congresses at all levels, moving towards the 17th City Party Congress, speaking at the Conference, Comrade Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau proposed that in the coming time, Party committees at all levels, party organizations, leaders of departments, branches, localities and units should seriously implement a number of contents: Solidarity, unity, joint efforts, unanimously overcome difficulties and challenges, strive to achieve victory. Benefit from the targets and tasks of Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo on building and developing Hai Phong city to 2030, vision to 2045 and the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the City Party Committee set out.
In the process of leading and directing the preparation and organization of the Congress, it is necessary to thoroughly and seriously grasp the 7 requirements and lead and direct the good implementation of the 7 contents stated in Circular No. 10 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and deploy the implementation to ensure progress according to Plan No. 379 of the City Party Executive Committee. Personnel preparation must pay attention to standards, age, structure, and quantity; which attaches special importance to quality, not because the structure lowers standards. Pay attention to closely and thoroughly review, verify, and evaluate standards, conditions, declaration of assets, income, information, and responsibilities of personnel related to the conclusions of inspections, audits, or cases of the authorities that have reviewed, conclusions, and results of handling applications, letters of complaints, denunciations, etc. Personnel participating in the Party Committee must be comrades who are exemplary in terms of political bravery, quality, and ethics.c, has practical experience, has achievements, results, work products and cares for young officials and female officials. There are effective screening mechanisms and criteria so that truly virtuous and talented people are not missed. At the same time, do not let officials who do not meet the standards and conditions enter the party committee, especially holding key positions.

The City Party Secretary also asked the party committees at all levels to strictly implement the comments of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the first meeting of the Human Resources Subcommittee, March 13, 2024: "Some issues need special attention in the preparation of personnel for the 14th Party Congress." Based on these contents, the City Party Secretary assigned the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee to research and advise the City Party Standing Committee to direct the review of standards, conditions, ethical qualities, and staff capacity; Only include in the list of party committees those comrades who have not committed any shortcomings.
