(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of May 3, the City People's Council's thematic supervision team led by Mr. Pham Van Lap, Member of the City Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, was the Head of the supervision team on the implementation of regulations, mechanisms and policies in industrial management and development in the city at VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park (Thuy Nguyen district). According to a report by VSIP Hai Phong Co., Ltd., there are currently 53 large enterprises from Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia... with a total investment capital of more than 3.1 billion USD, contributing to creating 60,000 jobs for workers. Enterprises in VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park all have positive business results, contributing to the local budget and community activities. VSIP Hai Phong, in the process of attracting investment, always aims at a green and sustainable industrial park model to contribute to efforts to respond to climate change and ensure national energy security; has deployed rooftop solar power systems at a number of businesses as well as ready-built factory systems. According to calculations, the solar power output generated in 2024 is 4 million kWh, equivalent to reducing 2,928 tons of CO2.
