Urban Transport Development Project: Complete technical traffic opening of the route before the Lunar New Year

According to the report of the Project Management Board, currently the progress of the main construction and installation packages on the entire length of the project's route is about 20km, from the starting point of the route intersecting with National Highway 10 in Bac Son commune (An Duong district) to the end point of the route intersecting Lien ward road in Nam Hai ward (Hai An district) has been completed about 84%.

Speaking at the construction site, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung acknowledged and appreciated the construction units who have made many positive efforts to help the project change day by day. The Chairman emphasized that up to this point, the site clearance work of the entire project has basically been handed over at about 99.7%, the only current problem with the premises is that of Kim Long Company in Hai An district. Regarding this issue, the Chairman requested Hai An district to urgently prepare enforcement documents to hand over the site to the construction contractor in November 2019, striving to complete the technical traffic of WB road for handover and put into use before the Lunar New Year.

For the investment project to build the urban main road connecting the inter-ward road with road 356 (Hai An district), the construction contractor is currently focusing on implementing the excavation of the foundation and geotextile strip for 1km; The average sand embankment is 600m, it is expected that by the end of the year, the entire route will be loaded with more than 1.7km... Through field inspection at the scene, the Chairman proposed that the Investor research and change the construction method on one side of the road, striving from now until before the Lunar New Year to technically open one side of the road to connect with WB road to the end of the route. However, changing construction methods must still ensure the technique and quality of the project and not change the total investment.
