City leaders inspect the project on site.
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of September 3, comrade Le Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council inspected and listened to reports on the progress of the investment project to build a road connecting Cao Quy pile yard with Dam Thuong pile yard, Lai Xuan commune and the investment project to build a road into the Cao Quy pile yard historical relic preservation area, Lien Khe commune. (Thuy Nguyen district).
Also attending the inspection were comrades Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Le Khac Nam Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Leaders of relevant departments, functional branches and localities.
According to the report of the Thuy Nguyen District Party Committee, the investment project to build the access road and Cao Quy pile reserve conservation area, Lien Khe commune, up to this point, the contractor has completed all the work, including: digging the roadbed, driving bamboo piles, spreading geotextile, and filling with sand; Construction of 16 culverts across the road; Spreading mountain soil, gravel aggregate for the entry road item... For the pile yard conservation area, leveling, construction, pouring concrete, and paving the walkway have now been completed at about 70%; the exhibition house is under construction; Electric lighting, trees, stake-covered dome houses. Over the past time, contractors have actively organized many continuous construction projects, the output value so far has reached 197 billion / 243 billion VND, equal to about 83%. Representative nThe contractor said that this is a particularly important project, so the construction units are very aware and committed to basically completing all items of the project by September 20, 2020.

For the investment project to build a road connecting Cao Quy pile yard with Dam Thuong pile yard, Lai Xuan commune, Thuy Nguyen district has currently completed the preparation and appraisal of the project investment policy proposal report. It is expected that the project will start construction in the first quarter of 2021. When completed, the project will contribute to completing the Northern belt route of Thuy Nguyen district connecting the arterial roads of Hai Phong with Hai Duong and Quang Ninh provinces (Road 359 - National Highway 10 - Road 352). Connect and create momentum for the development of cultural complexes, relic tourism and spirituality in the entire northern region of the city and Thuy Nguyen district, which is preserving invaluable historical values of the nation.

Through inspection, City Party Secretary Le Van Thanh recognized and praised the Investor and the contractor for their efforts in organizing the project's construction. In less than 4 months after the commencement date, up to now the project has completed a huge amount of work, from site clearance to implementing and organizing the project's construction.
Emphasizes the meaning of Cao Quy pile yard as a priceless relic, a precious property left by our ancestors, demonstrating the mettle and strategy, recording the heroic history of our ancestors on the Bach Dang River, contributing to the rise of pride, patriotism, and traditions of our nation for today and future generations. With that determination, the City Party Secretary requested that the construction project not only ensure on schedule, technical and aesthetic quality of the project, but also ensure that it is commensurate with the historical stature of the Bach Dang Giang victory. The investor and related sectors and units promptly supplement items if necessary, the Secretary requested.
He also requested contractors and construction units to continue to mobilize concentrated human resources, means and equipment, and organize many construction sessions day and night to speed up the project progress, but must absolutely ensure the quality of the project.
In parallel with the implementation of construction, the Secretary of the City Party Committee recommended that relevant units pay close attention and survey the expansion of the Cao Quy Stake Area Conservation Area towards both sides. For the construction of the access road, the Department of Transport and the design consulting unit were assigned to add 4 more gate pillars, and at the same time research the planting of green trees and shade trees along the road from Highway 10 to the monument such as mother of pearl trees, Bodhi trees...
Regarding Dam Thuong pile yard, the Secretary of the City Party Committee assigned branches and localities to conduct surveys, planning, and establish investment projects, striving to pass the City People's Council meeting at the end of this year, besides agreeing on the construction of a road connecting Cao Quy pile yard with Dam Thuong pile yard.
