Accompanied by comrade Le Anh Quan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and  leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.

Comrade City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau inspected the work of overcoming electrical problems at Station E2.4 area, Columns 28-29, Routes 371, 376 (Minh Duc town, Thuy Nguyen district). This is one of 21 medium voltage lines connecting to nearly 80 transformer stations, providing electricity to 6 communes, towns, and industrial parks in Thuy Nguyen district. Comrade Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the unit to strengthen its force to fix the problem, prioritize important areas, and restore power soon to serve the production, business, and daily life needs of the People.

In Do Son district, Hai Phong Electricity Company Limited is also urgently troubleshooting the 110KV Dong Hoa - Do Son line, which has the function of supplying electricity to two 110KV Do Son transformer stations. It is expected that the unit will fix the problem on this line tonight. Also according to leaders of Hai Phong Electricity, in recent days the unit has mobilized more human resources from other localities to focus on fixing the problem. With the current progress, in the next 2-3 days, the entire city's power grid will basically be restored.

Inspected in Area 2, Do Son district, one of the areas heavily affected by storm No. 3. Many service restaurants collapsed, thousands of trees were broken, the City Party Secretary requested the Party Committee and local authorities to focus on leadership and direction to overcome the consequences of the storm, helping people quickly stabilize their lives.

Through inspection of the work to overcome the consequences of localities and units, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau assessed that the functional agencies, authorities at all levels, and the armed forces have worked together with the people to actively overcome the consequences of storm No. 3; Some urgent requirements in life such as traffic, electricity, water supply, and basic telecommunications have been overcome, except for some difficult areas such as Bach Long Vi, Cat Ba, Do Son...

The Secretary of the City Party Committee said that authorities at all levels have done everything they can, taking advantage of existing conditions, but the main subject is still the people, so in overcoming the consequences after the storm, authorities at all levels have mobilized people to participate in overcoming the consequences after storm No. 3 and received a positive response from the people. He also appreciated the timely and meaningful participation of localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue, Cao Bang... which sent teams of experts, experienced officials and volunteers to Hai Phong to work with the government and people to overcome the consequences.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee also noted that the authorities, armed forces, and people when participating in the process of overcoming the consequences of the storm, faced with the urgent request, but the process must be careful and ensure safety during the performance of tasks. For the authorities, especially the resources that the city supports, other localities support, as well as the support of corporations, businesses, and benefactors to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, when shopping and conveying to people in difficulty, they must be to the right subjects, according to the right requirements and procedures, and policy profiteering from overcoming these consequences is strictly prohibited.
