(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of September 9, Comrade Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Management Board of Hai Phong Economic Zone visited, encouraged, and inspected a number of foreign direct investment enterprises in Deep C Industrial Park (Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone) to prepare conditions for resuming operations after the impact of Storm No. 3.
According to the report of the Management Board of Hai Phong Economic Zone, in terms of general damage, businesses in industrial zones all had trees broken down, where the highest damage was up to 90% and the lowest damage was 30%. Some spots were locally flooded during the storm. Many businesses had their roofs blown off, some walls were torn and collapsed, fence gates, signs, camera systems, garages, and sliding corrugated iron doors were overturned, and water flooded into factories, but no human damage was recorded. Currently, businesses and industrial parks are urgently fixing the problem.
