(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of September 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Hai district coordinated with Thai Holding Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Container Joint Stock Company - Viconship to organize a donation of nearly 3 billion to support the people in overcoming damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) in the district.

At the program, 35 households with housing damage were awarded support funds, with a total amount of 950 million VND; of which: Cat Ba town has 13 households, Xuan Dam commune 2 households, Tran Chau commune 6 households, Nghia Lo commune 5 households, Cat Hai town 5 households; Van Phong commune: 1 household; Hoang Chau commune: 3 households. Depending on the level of damage, each household will receive support ranging from 25 to 30 million VND.
17 people were injured in Ninh Tiep village - Nghia Lo commune; residential group (TDP) Luong Nang – Cat Hai town; Phu Cuong village - Tran Chau commune; TDPs in Cat Ba town receive support from 3 to 5 million VND.
51 damaged aquaculture facilities were supported with a total amount of 1 billion 155 million VND; Of which 9 rafts were completely destroyed in Gia Luan, Cat Ba town, each raft was supported with 50 million VND; 5 rafts were seriously damaged in village 2, Gia Luan commune, each raft was supported 30 million VND; 37 partially affected rafts in Cat Ba town, Tran Chau commune, Van Phong, each raft received 15 million VND support.
48 business households at Cat Ba night market suffered damage, each household was supported 5 million VND. 78 flooded households in Hai Son village, Tran Chau commune and Viet Hai commune were each supported with 5 million VND.
