Compete with international digital platforms
“Make in Vietnam” is a creative term, meaning that creativity, design and production are all done in Vietnam. Not only is the market large enough with 100 million people, the opportunity for "Make in Vietnam" is even more favorable, when the Government is promoting national digital transformation and economic transformation.

In that process, platforms such as distance learning, remote medical examination and treatment, remote working, video conferencing, remote accounting services, electronic journalism platforms, cybersecurity platforms... of Vietnamese enterprises have proven their maturity and can fully compete with foreign products.
Talking with a reporter from Industry and Trade Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Director of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) - affirmed that Vietnam's launched digital technology platforms are all very good, not inferior to foreign platforms. There are some areas that are even more superior, because we understand the domestic market and culture.
In addition, before being announced, Vietnam's platforms were assessed by units of the Ministry of Information and Communications on the level of cybersecurity and user data stored in the country, in compliance with legal regulations on cybersecurity. “The Ministry of Information and Communications will continue to support in terms of communication, assessment, accreditation and declaration of platforms that meet usage requirements to trusted and widely used agencies and organizations” – Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung said.
As a startup in the technology field, Mr. Dau Ngoc Huy - CEO of Stringee - agrees that Vietnamese businesses are fully capable of mastering technology and competing with similar international platforms, with the advantage of increasing security features and saving costs. In addition, Vietnamese information technology businesses have an understanding of Vietnamese culture and will support businesses in digital transformation.
Aim for 100,000 businesses
The Ministry of Information and Communications has developed a draft project of the National Strategy for Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises to 2030 to implement Directive 01/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on promoting the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises. The Draft Strategy aims to provide systematic solutions and specific breakthroughs, mobilizing resources of the entire society to exploit strengths and take advantage of opportunities to develop Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.
According to the draft, the goal is that by 2025, Vietnam will have 70,000 digital technology enterprises, with 1.2 million human resources in this field. Revenue of digital technology enterprises grows on average at 1.5 - 2 times the GDP growth rate. The export value of these enterprises grows on average from 10 - 20% per year.

Revenue of digital technology enterprises grows on average 2-3 times the GDP growth rate. The export value of digital technology enterprises increases by an average of 20 - 30%/year, contributing 20% of GDP growth and 70% of digital economic growth...
To achieve the goal, the Ministry of Information and Communications has proposed main groups of solutions including: Improving mechanisms and policies, creating a development environment for Vietnamese digital technology enterprises; Promote digital technology research capacity, in which businesses are the pioneering force; Effectively support and create a dynamic market for digital technology businesses; develop the data industry and digital technology ecosystem; innovate human resource development models and methods of using labor specialized in digital technology...
Vietnamese digital technology enterprises are the force carrying out the mission of turning Vietnam into a developed industrial country and a high-income country by 2045.
