(Haiphong.gov.vn) – Hai Phong Department of Transport has just sent a Document to the Departments of Transport of provinces and cities; Hai Phong Bus Station Joint Stock Company and fixed passenger transport business units at Cau Rao bus station on arranging to transfer fixed passenger transport activities to other bus stations to hand over the premises of Cau Rao bus station to serve the construction of Cau Rao 1 construction investment project.

Accordingly, in order to best serve the travel needs of passengers and ensure continuous transport operations after Cau Rao bus station stops operating to implement the Cau Rao 1 construction investment project scheduled for October 30, 2020, the Department of Transport requests units that transport passengers along fixed routes at Cau Rao bus station to urgently research and develop plans. Operate appropriate routes to arrange and transfer transport activities to other bus stations to hand over the Cau Rao bus station site for project construction.
In which, bus stations are eligible to receive: Thuong Ly bus station, northern Hai Phong, Do Son, Kien Thuy, Tien Lang, Vinh Bao.
Bus station under implementation, eligible to announce operations in October 2020: Vinh Niem bus station.
Bus station not qualified to receive: Niem Nghia, Lac Long bus station (reason: stop operating, change the purpose of use according to the roadmap to implement the planning of the network of parking spots and parking lots in Hai Phong city until 2025, with an orientation to 2030); Cat Hai bus station, An Lao (reason: not yet announced, bus station classification).
Principle of transfer: does not increase vehicle frequency or affect vehicle operating hours of businesses operating at receiving bus stations. Maintain the frequency and departure time of the transferred business. In case there is a need to move operations to the receiving bus station, which increases the frequency of the route being operated at the receiving bus station, the departure time of the bus must not be kept the same and must follow the arrangement of the route chart of the route management agency.
Units submit the route operation registration application according to the form to the route management agency before September 23, 2020.
