After listening to the consulting unit's kick-off report and comments from departments, branches and localities, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung requested that the adjustment of the Planning must closely follow the goals of Resolution 45 - NQ/TW of the Politburo. The Chairman suggested that the consulting unit need to agree on research methods, clearly identify new issues that need to be adjusted, propose specific tasks for coordination, in which it is necessary to analyze and evaluate the development context, urban development motivation, development orientation of the entire urban area, propose economic spatial development models, scale of solutions to distribute socio-economic infrastructure systems at regional and city levels to ensure sustainable development...
The Chairman required departments and districts to coordinate closely with consulting agencies, identifying this as an important task and a top priority to soon complete the adjustment of the Planning to submit to the City People's Council at the next July meeting.
