(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of June 12, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council met with voters who are members of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to get opinions on the content of the 14th Session of the 15th City People's Council. At the meeting, voters expressed their agreement and high agreement with the proposed content of the 14th session of the 15th City People's Council with many practical and meaningful projects, orienting the city's development in the spirit of Resolution 45 of the Politburo, and at the same time were happy and excited about the results of implementing the city's socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of the year, especially the COVID-19 epidemic. Well controlled, a series of constructions and projects were started and inaugurated, making an important contribution to affirming the city's position, serving as a premise for Hai Phong to develop in the following years. Voters who are members of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee recommended and proposed that the city need to have a synchronous and drastic solution to promote socio-economic development to complete the goals and targets set out in 2020; Direct localities to successfully organize Party congresses at all levels associated with building and training cadres and civil servants to meet the task requirements of the new period as well as improve the efficiency of administrative reform; Do well the management of planning, land and construction order; pay attention to organizing commemorative activities and cultural events associated with anniversaries and major holidays of the nation and country, strengthen historical education and create an exciting atmosphere among the people; Early implementation of social housing and housing construction projectsServing workers in industrial parks and clusters. Besides, soon propose solutions to overcome the situation of abandoned fields in suburban districts; Strengthen prevention and control of natural disasters, storms and floods as the rainy season approaches...
After listening to the opinions of the voters, Mr. Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, respectfully accepted the comments at the conference and requested the Office of the City People's Council to synthesize and report to the Standing Committee of the City People's Council to prepare content for presentation at the next meeting.
