At the Program, the city awarded prizes and announced the Hai Phong City Symbol. Accordingly, in the 6th contest, Hai Phong city launched three major art centers in the country: Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City with a total prize value of 700 million VND; At the same time, many leading experts across the country are invited to join the Competition Art Council.
With a professional and methodical launch, the Organizing Committee received nearly 1,000 samples from domestic and international artists sent in for the competition. After many rounds of judging by the Arts Council and collecting people's opinions by ballots and direct voting through the City Electronic Information Portal, on May 15, Hai Phong City Party Committee officially selected the original NTM 787 model by designer Nguyen Van Ngat in the city. Ho Chi Minh is the symbol of Hai Phong city.

At the program, city leaders awarded the First Prize of the Hai Phong City Symbol creation contest to author Nguyen Van Ngat and pressed the button to announce the Hai Phong symbol in a brilliant artistic fireworks display.
