City Tax Department: Commends businesses for good compliance with tax law policies in 2022

– On the morning of November 16, the City Tax Department held a Conference to commend businesses for good compliance with tax law policies in 2022. Director of the City Tax Department Ha Van Truong chaired the Conference.

There were representatives of leaders of the Departments under the General Department of Taxation. Attending were representatives of Department and industry leaders and 150 businesses in the city.

Leaders of the City Tax Department awarded Certificates of Merit from the Director of the General Department of Taxation to businesses.

Emulation and commendation work always holds an important position and role in social life, expressing encouragement, praise, and recognition of the merits and achievements of collectives and individuals in the work of building and protecting the homeland. Emulation and reward work have truly become an important driving force in motivating all sectors of society to compete in production, learning and creativity.

Hai Phong City Tax Department annually organizes conferences to commend and reward businesses for good implementation of tax law policies. The commendation aims to highlight the role of businesses in contributing to the State Budget, the overall development of the city, praising effective production and business achievements and good compliance with tax payment obligations, and encouraging businesses to voluntarily comply with tax law policies. Thereby, promoting the emulation movement in the business community, creating a foundation for the Tax industry to strive to successfully complete assigned political tasks, while strengthening the friendly relationship between the Tax Authority and Taxpayers.

The conference commended businesses for good compliance with tax law policies in 2022, including: 06 businesses were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the General Department of Taxation; 38 businesses were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the City Tax Department.

Also at the Conference, leaders of specialized departments under the City Tax Department informed and introduced a number of tax policies issued in 2023 and the application of information technology in tax management and digital transformation.

Speaking at the Conference, Director of the City Tax Department Ha Van Truong recognized and praised businesses and entrepreneurs for good compliance with tax law policies; contribute to the State Budget and the overall development of the city. The City Tax Department organized a conference to honor businesses, entrepreneurs, and taxpayers who well implement tax law policies. The Director of the Tax Department hopes that businesses will continue to promote production and business development, fulfill tax payment obligations, contribute to the city's socio-economic development and commit to always accompany and share with businesses in the city.
