(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Implementing Resolution No. 28-NQ/TU dated November 10, 2009 of the City Party Committee's Standing Committee on "Building, consolidating and developing Party organizations and unions in various types of non-state enterprises, cooperatives, and non-public service units". On the morning of December 12, the Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone held a conference to announce the Decision to establish a Cell of Woosung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone: Establishment of Woosung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. Cell consisting of 6 party members. Appoint Mr. Pham Minh Duc to hold the position of Secretary of the Company's Party Cell, term 2020 - 2025. The Party Cell of Woosung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a grassroots cell, with functions, tasks, and powers specified in Regulation No. 171-QD/TW dated March 7, 2013 of the Central Executive Committee on the functions and tasks of Party Committees and Grassroots Cells in foreign-invested enterprises. The cell has its own seal and account according to regulations.
Woosung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in December 2015, headquartered at Lot K2, Trang Due Industrial Park; is an enterprise with 100% Korean capital. Main industry: Manufacturing washing machine accessories, refrigerators, car entertainment plastic screens. The current number of employees is 342 people. The company's union was established in 2017, currently there are 337 union members.

Speaking at the Conference, the leader of Woosung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. expressed his hope that after the Company's Party Cell is established, party members will both operate and perform well their production tasks at the Company; Together with the Company's leaders, solve difficulties and problems of workers, create favorable conditions, and help the Company actively exchange, propose and make recommendations with State agencies. At the same time, we commit to create conditions for the Company's Party Cells and Party members to operate according to the regulations of the Communist Party of Vietnam, promoting the role of Party members in the development of the Company.

The Party cell will be the political nucleus, leading, propagandizing, and mobilizing all employees of the Company to well implement the Party's policies and guidelines, and the State's legal policies; At the same time, effectively implement production and business plans and improve workers' lives.
