Announcement of Decisions on plans to arrange and streamline the apparatus and staff work at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of February 19, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city held a conference to announce Decisions on plans to arrange and streamline the apparatus and staff work at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city. Comrade Dao Trong Duc, Member of the City Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the Conference.

Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded the Decision and gave flowers to congratulate the mobilized and appointed officials and civil servants.

Accordingly, the Conference announced important decisions related to the organization and administration at the agency, including: Decision No. 61/QD-MTTQ-BTT on changing the name of the Movement Department to the Social Propaganda Department under the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Decision No. 62/QD-MTTQ-BTT on ending the activities of the Organizing and Propaganda Department at the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Decision No. 63/QD-MTTQ-BTT promulgating regulations on functions, tasks, organizational structure, and staffing of the Office and specialized committees of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (amended and supplemented).

In addition, the Conference also announced Decisions on the mobilization and appointment of officials and civil servants at the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The above decisions are important steps in arranging and streamlining the apparatus and improving the agency's operational efficiency, contributing to well performing the political tasks of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Dao Trong Duc emphasized that the announcement of the Decisions on arranging and streamlining the apparatus and personnel work is an important step to synchronously and effectively implement the policies of the Government and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee. In particular, these Decisions are consistent with Conclusion Notice No. 2557-TB/TU dated February 6, 2025 on organizational arrangements at specialized advisory agencies, public service units and socio-political organizations of the city. Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that the arrangement process is carried out to ensure democracy, openness, and in accordance with reality and the capacity, qualities, and experience of the staff and civil servants.
