Delegates spent a minute of silence commemorating heroic martyrs.(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the morning of July 24, Le Chan District Youth Union coordinated with the Business Sector Union of the city and Du Hang Kenh ward to organize the program "Flowers to pay martyrs' graves" at Cemetery of Du Hang Kenh ward; Giving gifts to people with revolutionary merits and former youth volunteers.

Delegates observed a moment of silence to commemorate fallen heroes.
In a solemn atmosphere, leaders of Du Hang Kenh ward along with union members and youth of units respectfully offered incense and laid wreaths to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Martyrs Cemetery of Du Hang Kenh ward.
Leaders of Du Hang Kenh ward presented support for the program "Flowers for martyrs' graves".

At the program, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Du Hang Kenh ward awarded lotus flowers and vases with a total cost of 10 million VND; The City Business Sector Union awarded a budget of 3 million VND to support the Youth Union of Du Hang Kenh ward to implement the "Flowers offering to martyrs' graves" model.
After the incense offering ceremony, delegates, union members, and young people replaced flowers at the martyrs' graves, expressing gratitude to those who sacrificed for independence and freedom for the Fatherland.

The "Flowers Offering to Martyrs' Graves" program aims to express deep gratitude to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation and the responsibilities of Party committees, governments, unions, and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation. This is an opportunity to educate the young generation in patriotism, national pride, and responsibility in building and protecting the homeland and country; is an opportunity for youth to express their gratitude and eternal gratitude to the heroic martyrs who have fallen so that the Fatherland can have what it is today.
