Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung received and worked with the Finnish Ambassador to Vietnam

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of March 17, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung received and paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Kari Kahiluoto, Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam. Also attending were leaders of departments, branches and units: Office of the City People's Committee, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Industry and Trade, Hai Phong Sewerage Company Limited.

At the reception, Mr. Kari Kahiluoto, Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam, thanked Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung for the respectful welcome. The Ambassador hopes that the friendly cooperative relationship between Finland and Vietnam in general, and between Finland and Hai Phong in particular, will increasingly develop comprehensively and deeply.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung expressed his joy in welcoming Mr. Kari Kahiluoto, Finnish Ambassador to Vietnam, and highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Finland in general, and between Hai Phong and Finland in particular. The Chairman of the City People's Committee announced some basic features of the city's socio-economic development in recent years. At the same time, we hope that in the coming time, Finnish businesses will continue to increase investment cooperation in Hai Phong city in areas that are strengths of Finland - Hai Phong such as: smart urban solutions and sustainable development, energy, clean water and wastewater treatment, solid waste management and treatment...
