(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of June 1, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung chaired a meeting with relevant departments, branches, units and localities to listen to reports on site clearance and construction of a number of traffic projects in the city.
According to the report of the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the investment project to expand the coastal road through Hai Phong city from Provincial Road 353 to Thai Binh Bridge (Km0 - Km19+645), has a total area of recovered land of 102 hectares involving 1,523 households and organizations, and the site has been handed over successfully. 99.8%, there are currently 04 households in Tien Lang and Kien Thuy districts that have not yet handed over site clearance. Regarding construction work, to date the value of the implemented volume is estimated at 217 billion VND (31.8% of the contract).

The investment project to build a road connecting Lang Am bridge, Ly Hoc commune, Vinh Bao district to the coastal road has a total land area to be recovered of 29 hectares, involving about 761 households and 6 organizations in Vinh Bao and Tien Lang districts; Site clearance cost is 467.6 billion VND. Regarding the construction of the section from Lang Am bridge to the end of the bridge over the Chanh Duong river and the 1.36 km section on the left side of the Chanh Duong river, the contractor has performed pile casting and pressing, bored pile construction, beam installation, foundation excavation, geotextile spreading... the contract value is estimated at 41.35%. For the construction package of the bridge over the Thai Binh river and the path at both ends of the bridge, the contractor is currently constructing bored piles for the bridge piers, path and beam casting yard; Completed 95/142 D1000 piles and 18/18 D1500 piles...

Regarding construction work, the section from Cai Vieng ferry terminal to the road to Hoang Yen pier and the section from the old Phu Long bridge to Moc Trang have completed the foundation, road surface, drainage... The section from the road to Hoang Yen pier through Phu Long residential area has completed construction of 32/32m of drainage sewer across D1000 road; are focusing on constructing the drainage system along the highwayTo build road base structures, coarse-grained asphalt concrete mats...

After listening to the report of the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Departments, branches and localities, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung stated that in recent times localities have made many efforts in site clearance work, but the implementation progress has not yet met the set requirements.
The Chairman requested the leaders of Tien Lang and Vinh Bao districts to continue to be drastic and highly focused on leadership, direction, propaganda and mobilization of organizations and households to strictly comply with the provisions of the law, and urgently hand over clean premises; Tien Lang district must complete site clearance work in June 2022; Vinh Bao district completes site clearance work in July 2022. For households that currently do not have land for resettlement, the Chairman requested districts to mobilize households with debt for resettlement. In the immediate future, the city will provide shelter support to ensure timely progress of the project.
Regarding the delay in approving compensation plans, site clearance support, and completing enforcement documents, the Chairman requested Tien Lang district to review and consider the responsibilities of relevant units in delaying documents and delaying protection of construction work. The Chairman of the City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Transport to establish an investment policy for the entire route from National Highway 10 through Tien Thanh commune, Tien Lang district, and make adjustments to traffic planning; At the same time, it is recommended that Cat Hai district must learn from experience in reporting, strictly implement the city's instructions in researching options, preparing land clearance enforcement documents... to serve the project. For investors and construction contractors, focus on machinery, equipment, materials, and increased human resourcesConstruction work, especially at the locations where the premises have been handed over.
