Hai Phong Port: Output of goods passing through the port in the first 6 months of 2021 increased by 17.2% compared to the same period in 2020

According to leaders of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, by the end of the first 6 months of 2021, the output of goods through the port reached nearly 15 million tons, equal to 51.2% of the yearly plan (29.15 million tons) and increased 17.2% over the same period in 2020; Revenue reached more than 922 billion VND, equal to 53.3% of the 2021 plan and increased 21.6% over the same period.

Production and business developed, the income of the entire Port's staff and workers increased by 22.8% over the same period last year and the Port fulfilled its obligation to pay to the state budget.

Tan Vu Branch of Hai Phong Port welcomed a high increase in container cargo in the first 6 months of 2021.

In the first 6 months of 2021, Hai Phong Port focuses on solutions to promote market and marketing work; Encourage emulation movements, raise awareness of responsibility, service quality, and increase labor productivity; continue to apply positive measures in all areas of exploitation, business and management; Maintain political security, order and safety of member units. The port promotes the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic at all units based on the successful construction and use of software for managing people entering and exiting and reporting epidemics. Along with that, Hai Phong Port contributed to support the city's COVID-19 prevention and control fund and Vietnam Maritime Corporation with an amount of more than 9.3 billion VND./.
