All 3 ships docking at Tan Vu port are container ships including: ship MAERSK NUSSFJORD, (Panamanian nationality), 171.93m long, tonnage of nearly 30,000 tons, transporting more than 1,400 teu of import and export containers; MAERSK VALENCIA ship (Singaporean nationality) is 175.50m long, has a tonnage of more than 23,000 tons, transporting about 1,600 teu of import and export containers on the IA88 service line currently operating at Tan Vu Port with a frequency of 1 trip/week; PADIAN 2 ship, with a tonnage of more than 15,000 tons carrying 1,100 teu containers, was added by Maersk Line to meet the import and export needs of customers in the context of scarcity of container space and equipment.
