(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of December 10, Comrade Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation received and worked with Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa - Founder of Pacific Construction Group and To Thuong Construction Group (China), these are enterprises in the 500 largest global enterprises and businesses visited and learned about cooperation and investment opportunities in Hai Phong city.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee said that recently, in December 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1511/QD-TTg on the establishment of the Southern Hai Phong Coastal Economic Zone, Hai Phong city. This will become the city's new growth engine in the coming period. According to the Decision, in the Southern Coastal Economic Zone of Hai Phong there are projects: Nam Do Son port - the largest in Vietnam; Tien Lang international airport and new generation free trade zone. With the above motivation, the Central Government expects and the city sets a growth target of 14-15%/year in the coming period.
