Project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Lang Am bridge to Nhan Muc bridge, Vinh Bao district, invested by the Department of Transport. The project has the scale of upgrading and renovating National Highway 37 from Km13+000 to Km20+700 with a length of 7,700 m and building a new road on the left side of Chanh Duong canal with a length of more than 7,500m according to class III delta road standards; Construction of bridge over Dong canal, bridge over Chanh Duong canal, drainage system along the route, traffic safety system and technical infrastructure of 4 resettlement areas serving site clearance...
According to a report of the People's Committee of Vinh Bao district, site clearance work for the project involves 5 communes, including: Ly Hoc, Cao Minh, Lien Am, Vinh Quang and Nhan Hoa. Up to now, the district has completed the inventory of agricultural land households with an area of more than 32,700 square meters, of which 179 households have handed over land to the contractor; Conducted an inventory of 251/789 residential land households with an area of nearly 10,200 square meters. The resettlement areas have completed detailed planning at a scale of 1/500. Community consultation is currently underway. It is expected that by December 24, 2017, the design and construction drawings of the resettlement areas will be completed.
Reporting at the inspection, the contractor's representative said that currently the contractor has been actively organizing continuous construction work for the handed over area, carrying out organic excavation, materials and construction of geotextile layers, black sand layers with a length of about 400m... On the new route, the contractor has completed the construction of temporary bridges and service roads serving the construction of bridges across the canal. Speaking at the inspection, City Party Secretary Le Van Thanh required sectors, localities and units to focus heavily on site clearance work. For the investment project to build a coastal road in the area of Hai Phong city and 9km in Thai Binh province, the investor is currently preparing the construction site, pumping sand, mobilizing drilling machinery and equipment, and materials to perform test pile driving, moving towards the construction of an overpass on the Van Uc river. Up to this point, site clearance work is being actively implemented by Tien Lang, Kien Thuy and Do Son districts. The localities have completed the inventory work and are currently preparing and reviewing compensation plans, site clearance support and resettlement.
At the meeting, representatives of the shipbuilding enterprise also proposed to the City Party Secretary about raising the clearance of the bridge over the Van Uc river.
