"Integration storm - Business corridor before 2016"

That is the topic of the conference organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Phong City in collaboration with HPM Entrepreneur Training Center on December 11, at the City Convention Center. Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Dinh Thien, Associate Professor-PhD, Director of the Central Institute of Economics; Associate Professor. Dr. Dan Duc Hiep, former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Pham Van Phuong, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; with leaders and managers of businesses in the city.

The Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP) has completed negotiations, this is also an "agreement of the century" opening a "new model of economic cooperation of the 21st century". Along with other important FTA agreements such as EVFTA, Asean economic community - AEC, WTO and more than a dozen multi-century FTAs ​​in recent times, deep integration brings Vietnamese businesses many great opportunities, while also pushing businesses into a new storm, that is "Integration Storm" - with many challenges and difficulties.

The conference was organized to update the latest information on TPP, EVPTA, ASEAN, as well as valuable advice and direction from leading economic experts for domestic businesses as well as in Hai Phong city. The workshop presented perspectives, goals, targets and orientations for developing the marine economy, logistics businesses, and solutions for businesses in Hai Phong; innovation requirements, properly applied in accordance with Hai Phong's economy as well as the targets set by TTP.
