(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 8, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuoi chaired a meeting with leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities to listen to reports on the progress of the project on the trunk road from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection and the progress of the investment project to build technical infrastructure of the resettlement area at A51 (Group 24,26,27) Vinh Niem ward, Le Chan district.
 Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuy chaired the meeting to listen to the project implementation progress report.According to the report of the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Project Management Board and Le Chan district are currently focusing on carrying out site clearance work to serve the construction of the trunk road. Up to now, 539/539 households have been counted, equivalent to an area of 36,347.2 m2 in 4 wards of Du Hang Kenh, Hang Kenh, Du Hang and Trai Cau. For the bridge crossing Sen Lake, contractors are actively constructing the pile foundation.
For the investment project to build technical infrastructure of the resettlement area at A51, Vinh Niem ward to serve road clearance, the People's Committee of Le Chan district is the investor. The district has prioritized inventory before phase 1 involving 162 households. To date, 127 households have been inventoried with an area of nearly 60,400 square meters; and completed the plan for 109 households... Currently, the capital need for the project is very large, the Project Management Board recommends that the city pay attention and continue to supplement capital in 2019 or advance the 2020 planned capital for the project to focus on site clearance and road construction. The trunk road project is expected to be completed in 2020.
Concluding remarks at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuoi acknowledged and highly appreciated the Project Management Board and Le Chan district in recent times for their many efforts in project implementation, especially in site clearance work.
The Vice Chairman emphasized that this is a key project of the city that contributes to completing the transportation infrastructure network and socio-economic development, so Le Chan district is required to continue promoting site clearance work (priority is from 2 ends of the route to the middle) to have construction ground; assigned the Project Management Board to direct contractor units to actively execute construction items, ensuring progress. At the same time, it is recommended that the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning & Investment coordinate, review resources, and propose financial plans to ensure project implementation according to the approved schedule.
The investment project to build Ho Sen - Cau Rao road 2, section from Nguyen Van Linh intersection to Cho Con street intersection, is implemented with the goal of building a radial traffic route, connecting the city center area with National Highway 5, Pham Van Dong street and the southern area of the city, serving as the city's main gateway for trade to the provinces and the whole country along the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway and the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway. coastal highway. Contribute to reducing traffic volume for the Cau Dat - Lach Tray - Cau Rao 1 route, promoting the efficiency of Cau Rao 2 operation; Step by step solve urgent urban traffic problems for people and vehicles traveling through the Nguyen Van Linh - Cau Rao 2 intersection.
