Hai Phong city's smart urban monitoring and operation center is located at the city's Department of Information and Communications.
(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The City People's Committee has just issued Plan 157/KH-UBND to implement the Coordinated Action Program to promote Digital Transformation in Hai Phong city in the period 2022-2025 between the City People's Committee and the Ministry of Information and Communications with specific roadmaps.
The plan sets out 12 key solution groups with more than 40 specific tasks, aiming to develop a synchronous and modern city digital infrastructure; Providing solution services, digital platform information systems, piloting digital transformation models in a number of agencies and units to help accelerate the digital transformation process from e-Government to Digital Government of Hai Phong city.
Accordingly, by June 2023, the construction of a centralized IT park development model in Hai Phong city must be completed to gradually form the premises of infrastructure and human resources to attract large ICT enterprises with many high value-added activities to invest in the city. According to the Plan's implementation roadmap, programs and content promoting digital transformation must ensure inheritance and maximize the results achieved from implemented projects on application and development of IT and communications in the city, especially shared software systems, specialized software in health, education, construction, transportation, environmental resources, e-commerce... The implementation also needs to follow the roadmap, have focus and focus, ensuring progress, quality and reasonable costs in organizing implementation.
