More than 40,000 charging ports for VinFast's electric cars and motorbikes will officially operate from the end of this year, providing energy for vehicles [...]

After more than 6 months of implementation, VinFast's electric vehicle charging station system is gradually taking shape. The Vietnamese automaker has completed more than 8,100 charging ports for electric cars and motorbikes, aiming for a goal of 40,000 charging ports nationwide by the end of this year.
VinFast's charging solutions can meet a variety of customer needs, with 4 types of charging posts including 11kW AC regular car charging posts, 30kW and 60kW DC fast car charging posts, and 250kW DC super fast car charging posts. In addition to public charging stations, VinFast also provides home charging solutions for customers with specialized power conversion equipment.

In contrast to traditional gas stations, VinFast's charging station does not take up space and can be harmoniously combined with parking lots across the country. Each charging post has a moderate size and can be configured in a variety of ways with a stand or wall mount. This is the reason why many units agreed to cooperate in building VinFast electric vehicle charging stations in a short time of implementation.
All VinFast charging stations use new technology according to international standards, making the charging process easy, simple and payment methods convenient and secure for customers. During the charging process, users can monitor the charging status through their smartphone and can proactively turn off the power remotely. In case of full charge, the charging post will automatically shut off, avoiding leakage or electric shock, ensuring safety for people, vehicles and charging devices.

Depending on capacity and charging time, each type of charging post will be distributed reasonably and scientifically at locations by VinFast to best meet customer needs. Specifically, 11kW AC charging posts will be placed mainly in public parking lots, apartment basements..., places where users will park their cars for long periods of time.
DC 30kW and 60 kW fast charging posts will be set up at parking lots, bus stations, commercial centers, agencies, offices or apartments, places where users' parking time can fluctuate within a few hours. Meanwhile, super-fast charging posts will be prioritized to be placed along highways, national highways, rest stops, gas stations, places where drivers often have short stops.
VinFast's above-mentioned way of setting up charging stations is based on reference to countries with developed charging station networks and in harmony with the habits and actual usage needs of Vietnamese users. Thanks to that, the vision of a green, civilized, modern life, with people using environmentally friendly electric vehicles to travel every day, charge the battery at home at night, or charge the battery at work during the week, go to shopping and entertainment centers on weekends, and charge the vehicle's battery, will soon become a reality.

As a customer who has deposited 50 million VND for the VF e34 electric car model, Mr. Nguyen Long (office employee in Hanoi) said: "I am looking forward to the day I receive the car to experience Vietnam's first electric car model, as well as to officially start new habits. In my opinion, electric car users will gradually get used to charging the battery at home every night like like charging your phone, or plugging in the charger at the parking lot when going to work every day, or going shopping or having fun on the weekend. A civilized, modern life without the smell of gasoline or dust is really worth the wait.
It is expected that the first VF e34 electric cars will be handed over to customers by VinFast in November 2021, officially opening the era of smart electric cars in Vietnam.
