Welcoming the Laos Macroeconomic Expert Delegation to the city, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong informed that Hai Phong city is currently ranked 3rd in the country, is the largest seaport city in the North and is the main gate facing the sea; At the same time, it is the urban, industrial, commercial, service and tourism center of the North and the whole country. With strengths in seaports and logistics, and a favorable geographical location, Hai Phong currently has all 5 types of transportation (road, air, sea, railway and inland waterway) contributing to promoting the city's industrial development. Also at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong provided the expert delegation with some information about the economic and political situation.of the city and the situation of attracting foreign investment in the first 6 months of 2024.
