On the morning of October 1 (ie the 10th day of the 8th lunar month), the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival solemnly held a ceremony to request permission to open the festival at Kiep Bac temple. This is an indispensable ritual before every festival, to pay homage to Saint Tran and the gods, praying for peace and prosperity in the country, good weather, and good harvests.
Attending the announcement ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025; Tran Thi Hoang Mai, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee; together with leaders of departments, branches, localities and a large number of people and tourists from all over.

In the sacred atmosphere at the Bac House, the delegates respectfully offered incense, flowers, and other items to honor Saint Tran and the gods asking for permission to open the festival. Next, the delegation offered incense at the inner temple of Kiep Bac temple. The ceremony was solemnly performed with the participation of the Van Yen, Duoc Son and Bac Dau sacrificial teams (Tran Hung Dao ward), contributing to honoring the unique spiritual cultural values of the Kiep Bac land.
The announcement ceremony is not only a starting ceremony for the festive season but also shows sincere gratitude to Hung Dao Great King Tran Quoc Tuan - a national hero and outstanding general in the nation's history, and at the same time conveys the desire for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all people.
