THE SITUATION OF CONVERSION OF BUSINESS HOUSEHOLDS TO OPERATE UNDER THE ENTERPRISE MODEL IN HAI PHONG CITY
Implementing the Law on Support for Small and Medium Enterprises, from 2019 to the end of 2025, in Hai Phong city (including the former Hai Duong province) there have been 399 business households changing their operations to the enterprise model.
Implementing Resolution No. 68-TW/NQ of the Politburo, the Department of Finance issued Plan 48/KH-STC dated November 14, 2025 on organizing a training conference, propaganda, and support for converting business households into enterprises in Hai Phong city. In December 2025, the Department of Finance coordinated with the Commune People's Committee to organize a conference in communes and wards: Kien Thuy, An Duong and Hai Duong.
From the date Resolution No. 68-TW/NQ was issued until the end of 2025, Hai Phong city has had 170 business households switching to operating under the enterprise model, accounting for 42.6% of the total number of business households switching to operate under the enterprise model.
Currently, the Department of Finance is continuing to coordinate with the commune-level People's Committee to continue supporting business households to switch to operating under the enterprise model./.
