(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The City People's Committee has just issued a Plan to implement Decision No. 411/QD-TTg dated March 31, 2022 of the Prime Minister on the National Strategy for developing the digital economy and digital society to 2025, with a vision to 2030, with the desire to create a strong change in the awareness and actions of leaders, officials, and public employees. officials, public employees, union members, members and workers of agencies, socio-political organizations, organizations and businesses to promote the development of the digital economy and digital society.

Developing a platform digital economy with a focus on national digital platforms is the driving force to promote digital economic development in industries and fields. Developing a digital society goes hand in hand with creating cultural values suitable for the digital age, creating conditions for people to access and selectively absorb world cultural values, enriching the spiritual life of Vietnamese people. Promoting people's creativity in the digital society, at the same time, protecting people against dangers and threats in the digital society.
The City People's Committee's plan will focus on consolidating and effectively organizing the activities of the local Digital Transformation Steering Committee. In particular, Organize Community Digital Technology Groups to each city block and village with members who are part-time officers and on-site members who are energetic, enthusiastic, and trained in digital skills to disseminate instructions and help people use digital technology and "Make in Vietnam" digital platforms, forming a wide technology deployment network across the city.
Along with that, strengthen cooperation between state agencies and digital platform businesses in researching and developing excellent, high-quality digital platforms; cooperate in propagating, disseminating and training digital skills for people through the use of digital platforms; Cooperate with foreign organizations and businesses in attracting resources, knowledge, and transferring digital technology to the city in accordance with the content of the Strategy.
Organize forums, conferences, seminars, events, and exhibitions on the development of Vietnam's digital economy and digital society and the results of implementing the Strategy's contents; Integrate content about digital economy and digital society in events and exhibitions on socio-economic development, introducing the country, people, culture and tourism of Vietnam in general and Hai Phong city in particular domestically and abroad. Propagate, disseminate and widely train on national digital platforms, typical digital economic and social models on the grassroots media system.
