(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Implementing the 2019 Theme, the City's Steering Committee on Anti-Revenue Loss has directed the Anti-Revenue Loss Working Groups to strengthen inspection, review, and evaluation of the causes and results achieved to direct and propose solutions to increase revenue in the area, especially in areas with a lot of room; Promote outstanding debt collection to increase budget revenue for infrastructure investment and ensure social security policies, contributing to the city's socio-economic development.
According to the report of the City People's Committee submitted to the City People's Council on the results of implementing the 2019 theme "Strengthening discipline in budget revenue and expenditure - Promoting improvement of the business investment environment", state budget revenue in 2019 in the area is estimated at 89,617.8 billion VND, an increase of 20.2% over the same period, equal to 129.3% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council, of which: Balanced revenue from import-export activities is 60,000 billion VND, up 27.5%, equal to 148.9% of the year's estimate; Local budget revenue was 29,617.8 billion VND, an increase of 7.63%, equal to 102.1% of the estimate, domestic revenue alone was 27,000 billion VND, an increase of 8.97%, equal to 102.4% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council.
