(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Preparing for the 10th session of the 15th City People's Council, on the afternoon of June 26, the City People's Council's Economic and Budget Committee held a meeting to verify the investment policy of the investment project to build, renovate and embellish the Ben K15 relic complex in Do Son district. Comrade Pham Van Phuong, Head of the Economic and Budget Committee chaired the verification session. The investment project to build, renovate and embellish the Ben K15 relic complex in Do Son district has a land area of 3.86 hectares, including 9,034 m2 of existing land, 22,214 m2 of reclamation land, and 7,329 m2 of water surface, in Van Huong ward (Do Son district). Total expected investment is 187,479 billion VND from the city budget. Project implementation period: 2019 - 2021. Once completed, the project will preserve, restore and promote the value of the national historical relic Pier No. K15, which is the starting point of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea, has been ranked a national historical relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2008; Built synchronously in architecture and landscape, to pay tribute to the heroesg martyrs; is the place of political, cultural and tourist activities of Do Son district, Hai Phong city and the whole country; contribute to educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and national pride for the young generation; promote local socio-economic development.
The Economic and Budget Committee of the City People's Council affirms that this is a project of great significance, requiring investment worthy of the historical and cultural significance of the monument, has similarities with the locations of the Ho Chi Minh Trail on the sea, is a special project, needs to be implemented soon and completed in 2021; recognized that the investor has actively prepared to invest in the project, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law.
The Economic and Budget Committee requested the investor to coordinate with the city's functional branches to receive opinions from delegates to continue to review and adjust the project; Note the adjustment of the 1/2000 planning of Do Son district and the 1/500 planning, avoiding overlap with the area assigned to the Casino; The architecture of the project's construction items needs to be auditioned and widely consulted to raise the level of monuments combined with tourism; Research to build separate temples for martyrs, add appropriate waiting rooms to visit relics in the whole; Consider supplementing socialization funding to build a number of project items; coordinate with the Navy Command to collect meaningful historical artifacts of the unnumbered train; Complete urgentlyDocument submitted to the 10th session of the XV City People's Council for consideration and decision.
