FPT Group wishes to invest in building an Education - Science and Technology Complex with a scale of 10 - 20 hectares in Hai Phong

– On the afternoon of January 4, Hai Phong City People's Committee and FPT Group organized a cooperation conference on implementing digital transformation content and educational investment in the city.

Speaking at the Conference, giving quick information to the Working Group of FPT Group, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau said that 2023 is a year of many difficulties and fluctuations, however in that situation, Hai Phong city has basically completed the set tasks with good results, being considered one of the economic engines of the country and the Red River Delta region. In 2023, total product in the city will reach a growth rate of 10.34%, ranking 5th in the country and 3rd in the Red River Delta; Total budget revenue reached 102,614 billion VND; Attracting foreign investment reached 3.24 billion USD, ranking 2nd in the country. City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau expressed his joy when FPT Group came to explore investment opportunities in Education and advise on implementing digital transformation in Hai Phon.g, these are areas of special concern to city leaders.

In the field of digital transformation, FPT affirmed its commitment to focus on investing in Hai Phong for outstanding development. At this Conference, FPT Group is interested in 05 field groups, including: Digital government; Project 06 and Digital Transformation of Hai Phong; Digital health; Digital and Lower Educationinformation technology layer. Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Group also stated clearly that, as a partner of many of the world's leading technology corporations, FPT is ready to accompany Hai Phong on future development ideas, and is an extended arm of Hai Phong in foreign markets.

Recognizing and appreciating the proposed ideas from FPT Group, concluding the Conference, City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau requested the city's functional departments to urgently review and select a suitable location to be able to deploy a large-scale Education - Science and Technology Complex, along with introducing a number of land plots to build FPT High School. Emphasizing the point that Hai Phong is ready to cooperate with FPT Group, the Secretary of the City Party Committee assigned the city's functional branches to coordinate with the Group to draft specific and detailed cooperation content and implementation plan, noting that FPT is a bridge to connect Hai Phong with foreign partners./.
