Use the electronic identification number provided by the Ministry of Public Security (VNeID) to log in/register an account when using online public services on the National Business Registration Portal

Implementing the provisions of Decree No. 59/2022/ND-CP dated September 5, 2022 of the Government on electronic identification and authentication, from July 1, 2024, when using online public services on the National Business Registration Portal, users need to log in or register an account with the electronic identification number (VNeID) provided by the Ministry of Public Security. level. Pursuant to the provisions of the above Decree and the instructions of the Department of Business Registration Management - Ministry of Planning and Investment, Hai Phong City Business Registration Office notifies businesses/people carrying out procedures on the use of electronic identification numbers provided by the Ministry of Public Security (VNeID) to log in/register accounts when using online public services on the National Business Registration Portal as follows:

• For new business registration accounts registered from July 1, 2024, account registration is done using an electronic identification number (via VNeID) issued by the Ministry of Public Security.
• For business registration accounts issued before July 1, 2024, the account owner logs in to the National Business Registration Portal and rechecks full name information, date of birth, and citizen identification number. If there are errors in the information of the VNeID account, the account owner sends a request to update and change the account through the feature "Manage personal information/Change personal information/Change personal identification documents". Then, the account owner links the business registration account with the VNeID account. After July 15, 2024, accounts that do not use VNeID will not be able to log in to the National Business Registration Portal to use public services.
