Approve aid funded by World Vision in Vietnam in the field of education and training

On November 3, 2023, the People's Committee of Hai Phong city issued Decisions No. 3627/QD-UBND and 3629/QD-UBND approving aid funded by World Vision in Vietnam in the field of education and training. Specifically, the Project "Strengthening capacity and career access opportunities for disadvantaged youth in Hai Phong city" is the project owner by Hai Phong University with aid capital of 51,734 USD equivalent to 1,221,957,000 VND and the Project "Strengthening capacity and career access opportunities for disadvantaged youth in An Duong district, Hai Phong city" is funded by An Duong District People's Committee. Duong is the project owner with aid capital of 200,937 US dollars equivalent to 4,746,132,000 VND.

Projects with the goal of equipping and promoting career skills for students in difficult circumstances in An Duong district and Hai Phong University through organizing Job Fairs, providing technology equipment to design and control robots, and providing financial support and scholarships for students. Project implementation objectives and activities contribute to implementing the goals set out in Decision No. 131/QD-TTg dated January 25, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Strengthening the application of information technology and digital transformation in education and training in the period 2022-2025, with an orientation to 2030" and Plan 126/KH-UBND dated April 24, 2019 of the City People's Committee implemented the Project "Career education and distribution orientation".student flow in general education in the period 2018 - 2025".
