On the morning of October 17, the Hai Phong Border Guard Command held a conference to thoroughly grasp and implement Decree No. 77/2017/ND-CP of the Government regulating the management and protection of security and order at port border gates. Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh attended and gave instructions at the Conference.
More than 300 delegates attending the Conference heard the dissemination, thorough understanding and specific implementation of the articles and clauses of Decree No. 77/2017/ND-CP, regulations on border guard procedures, border guard inspection and supervision; issuance of visas and permits issued by the Border Guard at the port border gate; activities of people and vehicles at port border gates; The responsibilities of the Border Guard in the management and protection of security and order at the port border gate... Thereby, helping agencies, units, businesses and all citizens operating in the port border gate area firmly understand the content, proactively coordinate closely with the Border Guard force in performing tasks and strictly complying with State regulations, contributing to economic development and maintaining national defense and security in the area.

In concluding remarks at the Conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh acknowledged and appreciated the City Border Guard Command for showing a sense of responsibility and proactively advising the City People's Committee to organize a conference to thoroughly grasp this Decree. The Vice Chairman affirmed that this is an important content suitable to the current urgent situation, especially in the management of security and order protection in the seaport border area of Hai Phong city.
The Vice Chairman requested the City Border Guard Command, in the coming time, to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of the Decree and related legal documents on the mass media; Continue to review, adjust and supplement coordination regulations between agencies and functional forces of the city related to management activities, security and order protection at port border gates according to the provisions of the Decree; At the same time, organize training to thoroughly grasp and implement the Decree to each specific subject.
