(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On January 26, Hai Phong Youth Union coordinated with the British Council in Vietnam to organize a conference to mobilize the participation of relevant parties in coordinating the implementation of the activities of the Project "From behind the scenes to the future". Attending the Conference were representatives of departments, branches, branches and cities; Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of districts and district unions.

Project "From behind the scenes to the future" - a social action project that uses culture, art and creativity to accompany mass organizations to create positive changes in society through supporting safe migration and preventing human trafficking in Vietnam, co-funded by the British Government and the European Union in the period 2021 - 2024.

The project aims to help individuals at high risk of becoming victims of human trafficking and unsafe migration and returned victims in urban, semi-rural and rural areas, ensuring they have important, useful information on safe behavior, receive support from diverse segments of society, as well as have access to public support services.

At the Conference, delegates heard opinions from representatives of relevant departments, agencies, units and organizations on the current situation of human trafficking, solutions to prevent human trafficking and support safe migration...
Through the Conference, we aim to raise awareness for officials and city youth union members about human trafficking, migration, illegal labor, and better understand the consequences of human trafficking and unsafe migration; At the same time, each officer and youth union member will become a propagandist to actively participate in preventing and combating human trafficking and promoting safe migration.

In the coming time, in order to continue to effectively implement the Project "From Backstage to the Future", Hai Phong Youth Union expressed its desire to receive the attention and companionship of departments, branches, units and organizations in the city. From there, it actively contributes to the efforts of Hai Phong city in particular and the Party, State, and Government of Vietnam in general in supporting safe migration and preventing human trafficking today.
In 2023, Hai Phong Youth Union has actively implemented activities within the Project "From backstage to the future", typically: Training activities on creative communication; forum stage training; Posting and propagating publications on preventing human trafficking and promoting safe migration on the Union's and Association's social networking sites... The activities received an enthusiastic response and large participation from the city's youth union members.
