(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of June 12, at the People's Committee of Dong Khe ward, the City Planning Institute (Department of Construction) coordinated with Ngo Quyen district and Hai An district to organize a consultation with the residential community, organizations and individuals to participate in the project of adjusting the detailed planning at 1/2000 scale (subdivision planning at 1/2000 scale) of Nga Nam new urban area - Cat Bi Airport.

According to the planning adjustment: the existing residential areas without compensation and liberation are separated from the project with an area of 21.27 ha; Update implemented projects within the Planning boundaries; Additional land for social infrastructure (green trees, public utilities). At the same time, regulate the height and architectural form of works on Le Hong Phong street; Organize landscape at important intersections to create highlight projects. Regarding technical infrastructure, adjust the road width and direction from 100m to 35m; Arranging an urban railway line on Le Hong Phong street; underground 110kv power line in Bach Thai Buoi street area; Arrange parking at the Mental Hospital location; Provide solutions for connecting infrastructure between old and new residential areas.

The planning adjustment project was made public and opinions were sought from the residential community, organizations and individuals in Dong Khe, Dang Giang, Lac Vien, Gia Vien, Cau Tre wards (Ngo Quyen district); Dang Lam and Dang Hai (Hai An district) are localities with land areas belonging to the Project Nga Nam New Urban Area - Cat Bi Airport within 30 days.
The new urban area Nga Nam - Cat Bi Airport is located in 2 districts of Ngo Quyen and Hai An, including the 5.29 km long Le Hong Phong trunk route with a cross section of 64 m, from the intersection of Nga Nam 6 - May To to Cat Bi Airport station and the new urban area on both sides of the road.

According to the approved Planning and Regulations, the total land use area of Nga Nam New Urban Area - Cat Bi Airport is 304.96 hectares. However, up to now, there are still 95.36 hectares that have not had any notification or decision on land recovery; 8.3 hectares have had a decision to recover land, have a compensation plan but have not cleared the site (equivalent to about 34% of the project land), so the project has not implemented synchronously in terms of technical infrastructure and urban architecture... leading to local flooding in some bordering areas within the project and the current status area as well as not ensuring the rights of people living in the area./.
