This morning, January 1, 2018, the City People's Committee held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Han Bridge and Dang Bridge across the Thai Binh River connecting Tien Lang and Vinh Bao districts, Hai Phong.

The investment project to build Han bridge and Dang bridge was approved by the Prime Minister for construction according to a special mechanism for urgent projects, so investment procedures were carried out quickly. Up to now, after 8 months from the start date, both projects have been completed, ensuring time progress and project quality.
These two bridges have the same design: a permanent bridge made of reinforced concrete, the length of the Han bridge is 256.21 m and the Dang bridge is 252.79 m, the width of the bridge is 12 m; design load HL93; Dimensions of the navigation compartment are 32x5m. Of which, the total investment of Han bridge is 170 billion VND and Dang bridge is 172 billion VND, invested from the city budget.
Han Bridge and Dang Bridge are not only important in connecting the two banks of Vinh Bao and Tien Lang districts but also connecting traffic in the coastal areas of Thai Binh and Nam Dinh with Hai Phong city.

City Party Secretary Le Van Thanh praised and appreciated the efforts of the Investor, Management Board and contractors who demonstrated responsibility and professionalism during the project implementation process. The City Party Secretary requested that the City People's Committee direct relevant departments, branches and localities to coordinate with the District People's Committees to urgently complete the remaining work, continue to upgrade the road connecting Han bridge and Dang bridge to Doan Lap intersection (Tien Lang district) and National Highway 37 (Vinh Bao district) to create a complete and synchronous traffic system.
