The Prime Minister has just approved the investment policy of Road 991B project from National Highway 51 to Cai Mep port downstream, Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (Project).

In terms of investment scale, the total length of the route is 9,727 km; The starting point of the route intersects with Hoi Bai - Toc Tien road; The end point of the route intersects with Cai Mep - Thi Vai inter-port road.
Cross section: Section from Km0+000 – Km1+083 and from Km2+033 – Km9+727: 35 m; section from Km1+083 – Km2+033: 44.5 m.
Bridge category: Rach Tre Bridge, cross section 20 m, length 73.62 m; Mo Nhat bridge, cross section 20 m, length 760 m; Rach Ong bridge, cross section 20 m, length 387 m; Highway 51 overpass, cross section 18.5 m, length 735 m.
The goal of investing in complete and synchronous construction of traffic route 991B from National Highway 51 to Cai Mep port downstream to transport goods to the Cai Mep - Thi Vai international gateway seaport cluster, logistics service center, industrial parks on both sides, Long Son industrial park to Highway 51 and to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway; serving the travel needs of the people, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province as well as the whole country.
