(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the 99th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024), on the morning of June 8, the Hai Phong Journalists Association organized a photo exhibition on the theme "Hai Phong with Truong Sa - Truong Sa with Hai Phong" to continue to widely propagate the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Attending the program were comrades: Dao Khanh Ha, Member of the City Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen, Deputy Head of Politics of the Navy. Together with leaders of departments, branches, city press agencies, members, journalists, NSNA participated in Truong Sa Working Groups and DKI Rig in recent times.

Throughout the long history of building and defending the Fatherland, Hai Phong has an important position, also known as the "Naval Capital", the departure place of numberless ships that created the miracle of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea, successfully supporting the South in the resistance war against the US, contributing to Victory Day on April 30, 1975, completely liberating the South and reunifying the country. Hai Phong is not only a place with many people participating in building and protecting the beloved Truong Sa archipelago, but also a locality with many journalists. NSNA is honored to participate in Truong Sa working delegations of the Central and the city to penetrate reality, compose journalistic works, record meaningful images to serve propaganda about the continuous growth of Truong Sa island district, the Old House.n DK1 in particular, sovereignty over the Fatherland's seas and islands in general.
Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen, Deputy Head of Politics of the Navy and Artist Do Trong Luan presented the National flag at Truong Sa to the Hai Phong Journalists Association.
At the photo exhibition program on the theme "Hai Phong with Truong Sa - Truong Sa with Hai Phong", more than 200 best works by 5 Photographic Artists of the Hai Phong Press Photo Club during their trip to visit and work on the islands and the DK1 platform on the Truong Sa archipelago in April 2024 were displayed and introduced. Thereby, in order to continue to widely propagate to the people about the feelings of the Party Committee, the government and the People of the city for the troops and people of Truong Sa island district, the DK1 Platform. At the same time, widely propagate the sovereignty of the Fatherland's sacred seas and islands, praising the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers".

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Journalists Association Nguyen Anh Tu said: In 2024, the Hai Phong Journalists Association continues to receive the attention of the Navy leadership and has developed a photo creation plan on the theme "Hai Phong with Truong Sa - Truong Sa with Hai Phong" to participate in the Photo Exhibition "Fatherland on the shore of the waves". With 200 photos selected from thousands of photos returned by Press Photo Club members from Truong Sa, the Organizing Committee chose to frame 80 photos and more than 100 photos on large-sized panels to express the feelings of the Party Committee, authorities and People of Hai Phong city for the troops and people of Truong Sa island district, DK Platform.
