Cau Rao 1 project is invested by the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board with a total investment of over 2,260 billion VND from the city budget. Of which, the construction cost is more than 1,100 billion VND. Rao Bridge 1 has a pre-stressed steel and reinforced concrete structure, 30.5 m wide and 456.5 m long with 11 spans; The main span has a steel arch and a hollow plate beam guide span. Rao Bridge 1 has 4 motor vehicle lanes, 2 mixed traffic lanes, median strips, safety strips, and sidewalks on both sides. Rao Bridge 1 contributes to building a transportation network connecting Hai Phong city center with Do Son, Duong Kinh, Kien Thuy districts and the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway.
