(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of December 26, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong received and worked with a Korean business delegation led by Mr. Pac By-ong Hun, General Secretary of the Korean Energy Management System Industry Association, to visit, work and learn about cooperation and investment opportunities in Hai Phong.

Pleased to welcome the delegation, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong informed about some of Hai Phong's potential strengths and socio-economic development achievements. Accordingly, 2024 is the 10th consecutive year that Hai Phong has maintained double-digit growth, the total foreign investment capital attraction reached 4.7 billion USD, more than twice the set plan. There are currently 1,000 projects in the city with a total valid registered investment capital of 32.5 billion USD from investors from 39 countries and territories. Of these, there are 185 projects from Korean investors with a total investment capital of more than 12.8 billion USD, ranking first in total investment capital and second in number of investment projects.
