(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of June 5, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho inspected the progress of the implementation of the investment project to build a road from the coastal road (Km1+00) to Van Bun intersection, Ly Thai To street, Do Son district. With a total investment of nearly 960 billion VND, the investment project to build a road from the coastal road (Km1+00) to Van Bun intersection has a scale of building a road of 6.2km in length, the starting point of the coastal road intersection (km1+00), the end point of the Van Bun intersection.

The total area of site clearance recovery to serve the Project is 16.76 hectares, involving 341 households and 9 organizations in 03 wards, including: Ngoc Xuyen, Van Huong and Minh Duc. As of June 4, 2024, there are only 02 households in Van Huong ward that have not received site clearance compensation and 01 organization has not approved the plan. Regarding construction work, according to Do Son District People's Committee, the biggest difficulty today is that sand materials for road embankment and loading sand are still scarce, sand prices have increased compared to the time of bidding, along with continuous rainy weather for many days also directly affecting the progress of leveling and filling sand loading of the Project...

Emphasizing his speech at the inspection, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho stated that the investment project to build a road from the coastal road (Km1+00) to Van Bun intersection has important significance in contributing to the development of infrastructure, perfecting the domestic transportation system, promoting socio-economic development of Do Son district in particular and Hai Phong city in general. The Vice Chairman assessed that over the past time, city departments have focused heavily on supporting Do Son in site clearance work, so far it has basically met the set requirements. The Vice Chairman requested the People's Committee of Do Son district to continue to focus heavily on site clearance, approve compensation plans to support site clearance for remaining households and organizations to urgently hand over the clean site to the construction unit.
