The City Business Sector Party Committee is the upper-level party committee directly under the City Party Committee. The Party currently has 93 grassroots party organizations (35 party committees and 58 party cells) with 4,274 party members.
Regarding the results of implementing the Resolution of the Third Congress of the Party Committee, term 2020-2025, up to now, 15/16 targets have closely followed, achieved and exceeded the targets set by the Congress. In particular, completed more than 60% of the target of establishing the number of grassroots Party organizations in non-state enterprises (May 8). Regarding the target for admitting new party members every year from 2021-2023, they all exceed the target set by the Congress of 200 party members. As for the annual average income growth target of the average worker, it has not been achieved, although 2021, 2022, and the first 9 months of 2024 all reached and exceeded 10% (but in 2023 it did not reach and currently 11 Party organizations in state-owned enterprises are transferred to the Central Government, these are enterprises with high average income in the Bloc). Along with production activitiesExport, business, and social security work are paid attention to and actively implemented by Party committees at all levels and leaders of units. Specifically, in 2021 it is 7.9 billion VND; In 2022 it will be 5.9 billion VND and in 2023 it will be 5.1 billion VND...

Regarding the preparation of the Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Bloc organized conferences to thoroughly grasp and disseminate Directives, Plans, and Circulars guiding the superiors on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 4th Congress of Party Delegates of the Business Sector; Establish 3 subcommittees and support groups to carry out planned tasks. At the same time, the working group guides and directs the grassroots congress under the Party Committee of the Block for the 2025-2030 term.
Regarding the results of implementing tasks in September 2024, in terms of production and business, the total revenue of units is 13,991 billion VND, down 13% over the same period in 2023, of which 36 units achieved and exceeded 75% of the 2024 plan. Total payment to the State budget is 608 billion VND, up 6% over the same period last year. 2023; There are 49 enterprises (accounting for 54%) paying budget of 01 billion VND or more. Total capital mobilization of banking units in the Block is 25,127 billion VND, down 4.7% over the same period in 2023; Total outstanding loans are 9,499 billion VND, down 4.65% over the same period in 2023, bad debt ratio is 1.89%. There are more than 22,000 workers in the Sector guaranteed jobs with an average income of 11.2 million VND/person/month, an increase of 11% over the same period in 2023...

Through listening to the reports and opinions of the delegates, and concluding remarks at the meeting, City Party Committee Secretary Le Tien Chau emphasized that, although there are still many difficulties and obstacles in organizing and operating, however, the Party Committee of the Block has achieved many positive results in leadership, direction, and implementation of targets and tasks set out in the resolutions of the Business Block Party Congress. He highly appreciated the dynamism, promoting the application of information technology, digital transformation, strengthening links between businesses inside and outside the Block to consume products, contributing to promoting production and business development.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee affirmed that the role of the Party Committee of the Business Sector is very important. Therefore, in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Enterprise Sector needs to pay attention and do a good job of detecting, training, and recruiting Party members for workers at enterprises. In particular, pay attention to improving the quality of Party organizations and party members, thereby promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of party members in carrying out the tasks of the enterprise; Thoroughly grasp and implement well the motto "do not chase quantity but pay attention to improving the quality of party members" in developing party members at the enterprise.
