At the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district Tran Duy Tuong said: During the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district has achieved many outstanding results in all aspects of activities and work. The great national unity bloc has been consolidated and expanded. Many campaigns and patriotic emulation movements have been launched with practical significance and effectiveness. To date, the entire district has 74.39% of units achieving agency and cultural units; 62.35% of residential groups are recognized as district-level cultural residential groups; 94.55% of households reach a cultured family.
The "For the Poor" Fund mobilized nearly 5 billion VND, supporting the construction and repair of houses for 150 households in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 4.7 billion VND. The Vietnam Fatherland Front in the district received nearly 2.5 billion VND along with many necessities and medical supplies to support the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic; mobilized support for the construction of the Kien An Martyrs' Memorial on Thien Van Mountain for nearly 30 billion VND. In 2023, the rate of poor households in the district will decrease to 0.15%, and near-poor households will decrease to 1.45%.
